Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Diviners Group Private Limited, an Indian company headquartered in Chennai. Publisher of the MyLife Android app, the MyLife Windows desktop installer, and this website.

2. What we collect
Nothing.
- No account — the app has no signup, login, or user identifier.
- No analytics — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, no first-party telemetry.
- No crash reporting — crashes are written to a local file you control; we never receive them.
- No third-party SDKs — no advertising, no Facebook, no Crashlytics, no Sentry.
- No cookies on this site beyond what static Astro emits (which is nothing by default).
3. What you create
You create data inside the app — reminders, transactions, journal entries, medications, sleep logs, photos of vehicle documents. That data lives in your device's local storage. It is never transmitted off your device.
When you export a backup, the file is saved to your filesystem. We have no copy, ever. When you encrypt a backup, the passphrase never leaves your device — it's the input to a key derivation (PBKDF2-SHA256, 50,000 iterations) that runs locally.
4. What gets transmitted
Two things ever leave your device:
- Downloading the app. When you fetch the installer or APK from this site, our nginx server logs the request — IP, timestamp, file, user agent. Kept for 30 days for security monitoring (rate limiting, abuse detection), not used for analytics.
- Visiting the site. Same nginx logs. Same 30-day retention. No first-party or third-party analytics scripts run.
That is the complete list. There is no other network traffic between MyLife and us.
5. Backups and sharing
You may export backups to share between your own devices or email yourself. If you upload an encrypted backup to a cloud drive, the cloud provider's privacy policy applies to that file — not ours. Always export with a passphrase; plain JSON exports are readable by anyone with the file.
6. Children's data
MyLife includes features for tracking baby growth, vaccinations, and a multi-person mode that may include children. This data is created by adult users about their dependants and stays on the adult's device under the same offline-first guarantees as everything else. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
The app is rated for users 18 and over.
7. Your rights
Because we don't have your data, most data-subject rights resolve to actions you take on your own device:
- Access — open the app; everything is there.
- Portability — Settings → Backup → Plain JSON export.
- Erasure — uninstall the app, or Settings → Sample data → Remove, or wipe the data folder.
- Rectification — edit any record in-app.
- Objection / restriction — uninstall.

8. Security measures
- Local storage is private to the app's bundle ID on both platforms.
- Optional 4-digit PIN gate.
- Optional biometric unlock on Android.
- Encrypted backups use AES-CBC + PBKDF2-SHA256, 50,000 iterations.
- App bundles are obfuscated to make casual reverse engineering harder.
Determined attackers with physical device access may still recover your data. Use the PIN and the device's OS-level encryption as your first line of defence.
9. Changes
We publish material changes here and in the in-app About screen at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use MyLife after that date is acceptance.
