1. What MyLife is
A personal-data tracker bundling Routine, Money, and Health features into one Windows desktop and Android mobile app, plus this site.
2. Who can use it
Anyone aged 18 or over. By installing or using MyLife you confirm you meet this age requirement and that you are using it for lawful personal purposes.
If you record data about other people (multi-person mode), you confirm you have the right and consent to do so under your local privacy law.
3. What you can do
- Install and use it on your own devices, indefinitely, for free.
- Make encrypted or plain backups of your own data.
- Use it for any lawful personal-tracking purpose.
- Share screenshots, feedback, and suggestions.
4. What you cannot do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the installer or APK.
- Redistribute modified versions under the MyLife name.
- Use MyLife to track other people without their consent where consent is legally required.
- Use MyLife to record information you are legally required to keep on a regulated platform (clinical records, accounting books for a registered business).
5. The app is provided "as is"
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
- No warranty of any kind, express or implied.
- No guarantee the app will be free of bugs, crashes, or data loss.
- No guarantee the app will be available, maintained, or supported indefinitely.
- No guarantee the data you enter is accurate or interpreted correctly by the app.
6. Not medical, legal, or financial advice
MyLife displays health information, financial information, and reminder timing. None of this is professional advice. Consult a licensed physician, financial advisor, or lawyer for questions in those domains. See the medical disclaimer for the in-app health features specifically.
7. Data loss
We have no copy of your data. If you lose your device, forget your backup passphrase, or your backup file becomes corrupted, your data is unrecoverable. Back up regularly. Test the restore flow at least once.
8. Backups and third parties
If you upload backups to a cloud drive or share them with another person, those parties' terms apply to that file. We accept no responsibility for what happens after a backup leaves your device.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from MyLife is the greater of:
- The amount you paid for MyLife in the 12 months preceding the claim (which is INR 0 for the free app), or
- INR 1,000.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
10. Termination
You may stop using MyLife at any time by uninstalling. We may discontinue MyLife at any time; if we do, we will publish 30 days' notice on this site and continue offering the last shipped installer for at least one year after the discontinuation date.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
12. Changes
Material changes are published here and in the in-app About screen at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use MyLife is acceptance.
